ASDA Chapter Support

The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) is the national student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of dental students. The organization introduces students to life-long involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation and advocacy. 

The Florida Dental Association (FDA) encourages all dental students in Florida to join their local ASDA chapter and become involved with their dental student community. The more you become involved, the more you understand how a unified group of dental students can positively impact your experience in dental school. Further, it enriches your knowledge about how (and why) a unified dental profession is so important in today’s dental marketplace. ASDA membership provides a solid foundation for future leaders in the dental profession with valuable student resources, regional conferences and an annual session that brings together student leaders from all over the nation.  

The FDA routinely interacts with ASDA students in the form of student lunch and learns, sponsorships and other forms of support at each school in Florida. Contact your local ASDA chapter for more information.
