Registration Categories 

Dentist/FDA Member (FDA) – This registration category is for all FDA member dentists. Those registering in this category must enter their FDA membership number on the registration form, as well as their license number for CE reporting to the Florida Department of Health.

Dentist/ADA Member (ADA) – This registration category is for ADA member dentists that are not FDA members. Those registering in this category must enter their ADA membership number on the registration form, as well as their license number for CE verification. 

International Dentist/ADA Affiliate Member (IAM) – This registration category is for international dentists that are ADA affiliate members.

International Dentist/Non-ADA Affiliate Member (INM) – This registration category is for international dentists that are not ADA affiliate members.

Dentist/Non-ADA/FDA Member (DNM) – This registration category is for all dentists that are not members of ADA or FDA. If you are interested in becoming a FDA member dentist and receiving FREE pre-registration for FDC, please contact Ashley Merrill, Member Relations Coordinator, at 850.681.3629. 

Dental Student/ASDA Member (ASD) – This registration category is for all dental students that are ASDA members. Dental residents and interns are no longer dental students, and therefore cannot register for FDC under this category. Dental residents and interns are urged to apply for FDA membership under the graduate student membership category for just $55. Dental Student/Non-ASDA Member (ANM) – This registration category is for all dental students that are not members of ASDA. Dental residents and interns are no longer dental students, and therefore cannot register for FDC under this category. Dental residents and interns are urged to apply for FDA membership under the graduate student membership category for just $55. Dentist/ADA/FDA Life Member (DLM) – This registration category is for all Life Members of ADA and/or FDA. Those registering in this category must enter their FDA membership number on the registration form, as well as their license number for CE reporting to the Florida Department of Health.

FDA Past President (FPP) – This registration category is for all Past Presidents of the FDA. Those registering in this category must enter their FDA membership number on the registration form, as well as their license number for CE reporting to the Florida Department of Health.

FDA Past President Spouse/Family (FPS) – This registration category is for any spouse or family member of an FDA Past President.

Guest (GST) – This registration category is for any parent, spouse or child (12 years or older) of a registered attendee. A guest must be included on the attendee’s registration form. Guest 12 years or older must be registered and have a badge to enter the exhibit hall and to attend the nightly social events. Registered guests are unable to receive CE credit for any courses attended. Guests who want CE credit should register as an assistant, hygienist or administrative staff.

Section Hygienist (SDH) – This registration category is for all dental hygienists employed by an FDA member dentist. The employing dentist’s membership number must be included on the registration form. For CE reporting to the Florida Department of Health, these registrants must enter their license number on the registration form.

Section Chairside Assistant (SDA) – This registration category is for all dental assistants employed by an FDA member dentist. The employing dentist’s membership number must be included on the registration form to verify.

Section Business Assistant (SBA) – This registration category is for any office staff or manager employed by an FDA member dentist. The employing dentist’s membership number must be included on the registration form.

Non-section Hygienist (NSH) – This registration category is for all dental hygienists not employed by an FDA member. For CE reporting to the Florida Department of Health, these registrants must enter their license number on the registration form.

Non-section Chairside Assistant (NSA) – This registration category is for all dental assistants not employed by an FDA member.

Non-section Business Assistant (NSB) – This registration category is for any office staff or manager not employed by an FDA member.

Lab Technician (NSL) – This registration category is for any lab technician.

Student Dental Assistant/Hygienist – This registration category is for any currently enrolled dental assisting or dental hygiene student. Individuals who wish to register in this category should contact their faculty advisers to register. Faculty advisers will compile a list of individuals from their school who will attend, and then submit that list to FDC staff. There is no cost to pre-register in this category.

Three-day Exhibit Hall Pass- This registration category is for non-FDA member dentists who wish to attend only the Exhibit Hall during the convention. Individuals can attend the Exhibit Hall all three days of the convention but cannot register for courses or events with this registration category. 

Saturday-only Exhibit Hall Pass- This registration category is for team members and non-FDA member dentists who wish to attend only the Exhibit Hall during the Saturday of FDC . Individuals can attend the Exhibit Hall on Saturday only and cannot register for courses or events with this registration category. 

Non-exhibiting Manufacture/Non-dentist- This registration category is for companies or organization that wish to attend the convention without Exhibiting. Individuals will be able to attend the Exhibit Hall only and cannot register for courses or events with this registration category. 


Children

Children under 12 do not need to be registered for the convention and do not need a badge. If a child will be attending an educational session, however, he or she must register as a Guest, and then register for the session. Children are only allowed in the exhibit hall if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
