Get Involved. Get Informed. Lead the Way.
At the FDA, we believe that strong leadership is vital to the future of dentistry. Leadership Central connects you with the tools, training, and opportunities, to make your mark - at the local, state, and national levels.
More than 300 members actively shape the future of the Florida Dental Association through services in a variety of leadership roles. From standing Councils and Committees to short-term Task Groups, these bodies focus on key topics and special initiatives that impact our profession and association. The House of Delegates services as the FDA's policymaking body, bringing together dentists from around the state to discuss emerging issues and ensure the FDA is aware of the needs and desires of the broader membership. The FDA's Board of Trustees provides strategic oversight, ensuring every decision aligns with our mission — Helping Members Succeed.

Governing Documents
The FDA’s governing documents are the official rules and guidelines that define how the organization operates. The FDA’s Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, Manuals, and Policies outline the association’s structure, purpose, membership rights, and procedures for meetings and decision-making. These documents are reviewed periodically and any recommended changes are brought before the House of Delegates.
