How do I get my CE for the courses I attend at FDC?
CE verification is automatically provided for all attendees. To receive credit for course attendance, attendees must scan their badge upon entering and exiting each course. The system will calculate the time an attendee was present and award the credit appropriately. Per the Florida Board of Dentistry, to receive one hour of CE credit, attendees must be present in a course a minimum of 50 of 60 minutes.
Attendees will automatically receive their CE certificates by June 29, 2026. They can also print their certificates at CE stations during the convention.
CE certificates will include all verified course attendance. Non-credit (NC) courses will be listed as zero hours. Only credit for full course attendance will be automatically added to your CE certificate. Credit for partial course attendance will be reviewed, added to certificates, and reported to CE Broker within one month of FDC. Attendees will receive an updated CE certificate once partial credit has been added.
All verified course attendance will be automatically reported to CE Broker for Florida-licensed attendees within one month of the convention. Credit will not be reported to CE Broker for non-credit (NC) courses. Attendees will be notified once credit has been reported to CE Broker. Each state varies on what is accepted for continuing education and those courses can be self-reported to your reporting entity after the event, should your organizing Board of Dentistry accept those courses.
If you need assistance obtaining your CE certificate or have questions about your CE, please contact FDC at fdc@floridadental.org.
What is the FDC cancellation/refund policy?
A cancellation refers to any termination of a course, workshop, event or complete registration at FDC. All cancellations and/or requests for refunds must be made in writing and received postmarked by June 12, 2026.
All complete registration cancellations are subject to a service and handling fee of $30 per canceled registrant. Refunds are paid to the individual whose name appears at the top of the check or on the credit card used to pay for the registration. Please allow up to six weeks after the meeting for refunds to be processed.
All cancellations and/or requests for refunds must be submitted via email or mail and postmarked by June 6th. Cancellations and/or requests for refunds should be emailed to bmartin@floridadental.org or mailed to the address below.
Florida Dental Association Attn: Meeting Assistant
545 John Knox Road, Ste. 200
Tallahassee, FL 32303
No cancellation refunds for courses, workshops, events, or complete registrations will be honored for any reason after June 12, 2026. Registration fees for the Dentist/ADA Member category include dual membership to the Florida Dental Association and are non-refundable. Fingerprinting appointment registration fees are non-refundable.
How do I get my badge?
Attendees will receive a barcoded email one week before the convention. Bring this email with you onsite. When you arrive at the Gaylord Palms, go to the Gaylord Convention Center and look for the Badge Printing Stations. There, you will scan the barcode and print your badge. Badges will not be mailed.
Badges are issued according to the registration category specified and are required for entry into all courses, events, and the Exhibit Hall.
How do I access my course handouts?
Two weeks before FDC, attendees will be able to access, download, and print handouts for registered courses. They will also be accessible on-site in the FDC mobile app during the convention. Note: To be more environmentally friendly, FDC will not print course handouts for attendees.
Please keep in mind that not all speakers provide handouts. FDC will make handouts available for all courses in which the speaker provides materials.
What are the parking and shuttle bus service options?
Parking at the Gaylord Palms is extremely limited to attendees who do not stay at the hotel. If you are not a hotel guest, there is a daily self-parking and valet fee. In-and-out privileges are not available. FDC recommends that attendees use the free off-site parking and shuttle service.
We encourage you to save money and time by going directly to the off-site parking location and taking the free shuttle to Gaylord Palms. The free off-site parking shuttle bus service is the most convenient option for attendees not staying at Gaylord Palms.Note: Please allow ample time (at least one hour before the course starts) to park at the off-site parking location, take the shuttle bus to Gaylord Palms, print your badge, and locate your course(s). Refunds for courses missed due to parking or shuttle bus delays will not be given.
What is the policy for course transfers?
A transfer refers to the movement of an individual out of one course, workshop, or event and into another course, workshop, or event. If an individual wants to transfer from one session to another, that individual must pay for the difference, if applicable, in the cost of the new session.
Onsite transfers will not be allowed for limited seating sessions (such as workshops) but will be allowed for lecture courses if space permits. If an individual wishes to transfer from one session to another onsite, that individual must pay the difference in cost of the new session. Please see a registration agent onsite to inquire about course transfers. No refunds will be given for onsite transfers regardless of the difference in course tuition.
