The FDA's Search Committee is responsible for recruiting qualified candidates for President-elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Editor, Speaker of the House, and at-large Board of Trustees. The committee evaluates each candidate to ensure they meet the qualifications established by the House of Delegates. Additionally, the committee works to present a diverse and inclusive slate of candidates for the House of Delegates' consideration and voting.

2026 Leadership Elections

 

The FDA's House of Delegates will hold key leadership elections at their annual meeting on June 26-27, 2026 at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, FL. The following openings will be elected at this meeting:

  • At-large Trustee (2 openings)
  • FDA Editor
  • Speaker of the House
  • Secretary
  • President-elect
